The original wewalk website launched in Jan 2000. It was a place to show my travels along with friends I met along the way.
WeWalk was the name of of travel films. It was a time before digital editing and video streaming. Yet the dream of living on the road from a laptop was soon around the corner, the dream of truly being free.
The dream was to travel round the world and film the experience. I got the idea on my first big surf tip in Western Australia when i was 18. I first filmed my surf trips to Bali and Australia, spent time studying film but left the college with my student loan and bought a camera and plane ticket to South Africa.
