WELL THAT WAS… turbo

Hungry for more adventures and endless buffets of nasa campur, I found myself on a 6 hour slow ferry to Sumbawa and Lombok with my best friends. I was lucky enough to connect up with more familiar places such as the Kini and Kirana retreats just behind Yoyos.
Learning about their sustainability commitments has been amazing… From onsite greenhouses fuelled by green waste from around the resort, turtle conservation and local ocean plastics being turned into biofuel for neighbouring farmers. Frolicking in the gardens and snorkleing felt a little more special.
I also got many hours practicing my backhand barrel riding at Desert Point in Lombok. A dream place and although I didn’t get any proper barrels, I learnt so much and had almost too many laughs with friends.
