The beginning of the Digital Revolution marked by my purchase of a Sony VX1000. The first TV quality handy cam. It was an expensive but nessacary as I wanted to make a series of travel documentaries for TV. 

Along with the camera i bought a plane ticket to South Africa. All thanks to my student loan and a decision to leave my film university course.

I had interviewed Andrew the Summer before while both living in Newquay, Cornwall.
