In My Way To Be Free is the blog of Jay Davies, the creator of WeWalk. This is my story from early surf trips to Western Australia in 93 to the formation of WALK in Jeffreys Bay, South Africa. My time spent with Derek Hynd on the Stomp tours and the IS surfing tour formation. To fund my travel and creativity, I created a clothing label in my bedroom in Byron Bay. I later spent time in NYC and London with WeWalk clothing selling world wide.

 
The travel and creativity became the inspiration for WeWalk.com to become a platform for people who surf, travel and create. Launching in 99 wewalk.com was the first website that brought together the core of creative surfers and featured the work of Albert Falzon, Andrew Kidman, Jim Banks, Pico, Derek Hynd, Joe Curren, Partick Trafez, Dick Hoole, George Greenough, Chris Malloy, Scott Soens.
